Nairobi Secrets

The red hot Sexy Siren Doll
Are you interested in the rapidly evolving Kenyan e-commerce scene? Then you may find this post interesting... NairobiSecrets is a new Nairobi based online retail lingerie shop which was launched this week.

The site uses Kenyan models Racheal, Boyo, Sonia and Vera. Models are selected for their interesting, outgoing, sexy and goofy personalities, as well as their academic and cultural backgrounds... Of course, other assets and a model’s face also help.

The site is organized in categories such as Sexy Lingerie, Sexy Swimwear, Sexy Gowns and Robes, and Sexy Indoor Wear (I am ignoring the category Floral). And then you have the sub-categories. Under Sexy Gowns and Robes for example, you will find Lingerie Gowns, and Baby Dolls and Chemises. Don't ask me what a Baby Doll is, but the red hot Sexy Siren Doll - which you can see on the picture - is one of them. It has just a trace of lace and a side slit, and comes with adjustable straps and a matching panty.

For online payments, the site accepts all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal. And taking advantage of the proliferation of mobile money transfer services in Kenya, the site also accepts payments through ZAP and M-PESA.

Delivery is only available in Nairobi. A standard delivery service is offered within the Nairobi Metropolis for a standard KSh 300/- and free for purchases over Ksh 6,000/-. All shipping is done through courier service to ensure safety and privacy.

They also have an interesting Facebook page, where they answer any question you may have. Trini Totcy had a burning question, and it was promptly answered:
Trini Totcy may i ask ignorantly plz.the c-string how does it go like,cn it be worn when in a skirt? how about that?? how does it hold?? tell me more abt the c-string n hw to do it.Thank you
nairobisecrets.com You are welcome Trini. Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Here's how it stays: C-String has a flexible internal frame that hugs and holds it to your body. At the front it looks like a normal sexy underwear and to the rear it has a thong-style strip.
This is the first time its being sold in Kenya but its common in the US, UK and Germany. To those we gave samples to, we got raving reviews.
Instead of having to deal with annoying underwear lines, this C-String provides coverage without the panty straps.
nairobisecrets.com The toughest effort to hide panty lines comes when one tries on an evening dress. This is a test the C-String excels at. With the CString nothing is visible, and the dress can do justice to your body curves.
Out and about: the C-String can be worn under all your favourite clothes: dresses, skirts, jeans...
Trini Totcy I see,..thanks a lot for the info. I do appreciate. Great stuff u got, all the best!

BubbleWrap Kenya

It looks like every day a new e-commerce site is born in Kenya. In some of my earlier posts, I already looked at Books First, Quick Flicks Store, and Crystallwear
And now I just discovered a fourth one: BubbleWrap Kenya. They focus mainly on gifts. The site is easily searchable or alternatively you can browse the categories, which go from books to wedding and couple gifts.

Busy girls may like the thought of a 1 hour of spa re-balancing massage. But they may find a sensitive friend who could offer them much more for less than the KSh 5,000 advertised for this massage. Handy men may like the 4 Drawer Topchest with 142pc Tool Kit. But their wifes may not like the KSh 64,995/- price tag. Cooking queens may love the Stylish italian stainless steel cutlery. But their husbands may frown upon the KSh 61,800/- cost.

BubbleWrap guarantees that you will receive your gift within 2 weeks unless it is a customized gift then it is 2 months... They accept payment by Mpesa, cheque, Visa and Mastercard. Bubble Wrap aims to deliver within 14 days using Fargo Courier. The cost of delivery will be added to your bill.

In conclusion: Interesting website, but I really hope they can come up with some more attractive prices (most items appear more expensive than in the conventional shops), or otherwise they should just wrap up this bubble.Source URL: https://pussyhotnaked.blogspot.com/search/label/e-commerce

Something original, unique and not commonly seen

I just discovered my third Kenyan e-commerce site, after my posts on the first Kenyan Amazon and DVD's @ 200 bob . This time something even more interesting and exciting. Do you want to treat yourself or a loved one to something original, unique and not commonly seen? Then Crystallwear may be just what you have been looking for.
Crystallwear produces jewellery using the highest quality beads and accessories. Think way beyond the common touristy Maasai beads, Crystallwear is really a class on its own. All products are hand-woven and thoroughly checked. Each piece holds a personal touch. I checked out some of their items in real life, and I must admit they are simply amazing! Even the names of the jewels are interesting, including Penelope, Emma and Rosalie. On the website you will find these stunning beauties in very attractive surroundings of driftwood and sea shells and sands.
There is the possibility to purchase items from the website, although it is not yet possible to finalise your purchase and payment online, but they are promising to work on this soon. In the meantime, you can pay by bank transfer. They will deliver to the address you want.Source URL: https://pussyhotnaked.blogspot.com/search/label/e-commerce

DVD's @ 200 bob

I reported earlier about the first Kenyan Amazon. Well, it looks like we have a second one now, at least for DVD's: Quick Flicks StoreThey claim to be Kenya's premier online DVD store and are selling DVD's from KSh 200. You can browse their online catalogue and place an order. The DVD's are then delivered by courier (at KSh 100) to your doorstep within Nairobi and its environs in 1-2 days. You pay cash on delivery (currently the only payment option).

Anyone tried this service? Could it be trusted (they only give a mobile phone number as contact on their site...)?

Abattoirs closed... let's go for cheese!

Wanjiku Unlimited had a nice post earlier this week entitled Dagoretti Houses of Filth on the recent closure of the Dagoretti slaughterhouses: "As much as we do expect to see blood in a slaughter house, the footage of the abattoirs on TV was disturbing. The kind you really don’t want to see. There was bloody goo on the floor and workers wading through it in gumboots. There was more blood and parts on the counters. And to think that after all this the effluent is then directed to the already choking Nairobi River".

The post made me think that we may have to abandon a bit of our nyama choma culture and start promoting alternatives to meat. Cheese could be one of several excellent healthy alternatives. The good news is that the quality of most Kenyan cheeses has really gone up over the past few years and a wider variety of local cheeses is now readily available.

Try out some of Brown's cheeses for example, made in the highlands of Kenya from milk produced by hundred of smallholder farmers. They make delicious cheeses such as Camembert, Brie, Mozzarella, Feta, and much more.

Brown's informative website has more information about the process and explains the details about their different types of cheeses. The site also features some very nice cheese recipes, which can help you get rid of your nyama choma addiction.

Hey, and you can actually order online! Imagine, ordering cheese with your mouse... I have always known that mouses like cheese a lot! So let your mouse go for some cheese today!

Brown's is currently doing tasting sessions in different supermarkets most week-ends. Look out for their Marketing manager, Wanjiku, who is there on hand to advise and encourage customers to try new cheeses. Look for their branded fridge displays in some Nakumatt branches, Village and now also at Westgate and Junction.

Another interesting brand is Happy Cow, a medium-sized dairy factory in Nakuru. It also procures milk from small scale farmers and their main product line is cheese. Have a glimpse at their site for some more information.

Have you ever tried Kenyan cheese? If yes, which is your favourite one? Or do you want to stick to your nyama choma for the rest of your life?

The First Kenyan Amazon

Books First has launched its online bookstore, the first e-commerce website by a local bookshop. The website carries all of Books First's titles currently available in their shop (over 7,000 different titles in 20 categories), and customers can conveniently order over the Internet and pay via Safaricom's M-PESA service. Alternatively, payments can be made by cash on delivery, cheques and bank deposits. Books First is offering free delivery within Nairobi's Central Business District (CBD). They also deliver to other places in Kenya at a small fee, and they even do international deliveries! Hopefully, they will also accept credit cards in the near future, as this would be particularly useful for international customers.Source URL: https://pussyhotnaked.blogspot.com/search/label/e-commerce
